Hot Stove Night 

Hot Stove will be meeting on Thursday evening this year in a new location - Lovells Township Hall - 6:00 pm Start.  Otherwise same format as before.  

Jan 31:  James Renn -  “Where do we come from? How did we get here? Early Human Migration and the First Colonization of the Americas” This talk will cover the archeology and associated theories of early human migration and colonization of the Americas.

 Feb 14 Steve Johnson – He and Glenn Eberly went fishing on the Miramichi River, and this is their story.   Exciting recollections of dangerous travel and risky fishing.  (Sort of) 

 Feb 28 Tabitha O’Dell - Forest Management & Resources available through NRCS, Gaylord, MI 

 Mar 14 Patrick Ertel – Pat says Outdoor Science stuff – if you know Pat you know this will be good.

 Mar 28 Robert Korhman – Bob will talk about W.B. Mershon focusing on Merschon’s Railroad Cars & their use in hunting and fishing.  He named his cars Peggy, The Spirit of Saginaw, and the W.B. Mershon (this car came to Lovells).  HIgh Bank Lodge on the North Branch.  His last trips for grayling to the Black River and maybe:  His 50 year’s salmon fishing on the Cascapedia
